DXtrade XT has launched platform improvements to support prop trading, with the latest updates aimed at helping brokers and prop firms launch challenges and competitions.
This configuration provides prop firms with new tools to use DXtrade XT as a simulated trading environment for organizing competitions.
DXtrade XT Integrates CME Futures
The platform now supports single futures contracts from the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, known as XCME. DXfeed provides real-time market data for this setup. Users are guided to the DXfeed process upon their first login.
DXfeed handles compliance checks and exchange reporting. After completing the preliminary work, users are automatically redirected to DXtrade XT, where their CME market data subscription will be activated.
Meanwhile, fintech company Centroid Solutions has expanded its partnership with DXtrade. According to Finance Magnates, this collaboration includes support for the DXtrade CFD white-label trading platform through Centroid's risk management system, Centroid Risk.
Prop Firms Gain Liquidation Control
To meet the specific needs of prop firms, DXtrade XT now supports flexible trading schedules. This allows companies to set their own trading end times, requiring prop traders to close open positions before the end of trading days or weekends. If they fail to do so, companies can automatically liquidate open positions or close traders' accounts.
DXtrade XT has introduced a complete liquidation strategy for closing positions at the end of company trading sessions. During this process, all positions are closed, pending orders are cancelled, and the platform prevents new order execution.
DXtrade XT also allows prop firms to notify traders via web trader or mobile app when trading sessions are about to end. Companies can choose whether to send these notifications or disable them entirely.
The update includes changes to the platform's order execution simulation. Orders typically execute at the best price. However, to better serve prop firms, the simulator now uses level-two quotes and volume to execute orders, with limit orders only filling when there is sufficient liquidity at the requested price.
