Prop Firm Funding Pips Suffers DDoS Attack

Funding Pips Account Issues and DDoS Attack Impact

Funding Pips, a prop firm, revealed through its Discord channel that the company faced significant operational disruptions throughout the day due to a Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attack.

In a statement, the company assured users that they are working to quickly restore normal operations, including reducing email notifications from the application. Some users reported having multiple trading accounts that were not visible in the client backend.

These accounts will be removed, and new account creation through cryptocurrency payments has been temporarily suspended. However, affected users will still receive their accounts as the company has retained records of all successful transactions.

Despite the disruption, Funding Pips brought good news: they have taken measures to process payments while mitigating the effects of the DDoS attack. However, the company stated that email notifications will not be sent until the attack is completely over.

Funding Pips reported that the platform was offline for just over an hour. Later, a statement on X platform indicated that TradeLocker had suffered two DDoS attacks.

Initially, TradeLocker did not acknowledge the attack, only admitting to it a day later. The company stated that some users experienced difficulties accessing demo and live accounts, but all pending orders had been processed.
