Prop Firm Earn2Trade Launches New Brand Funding Trading

Earn2Trade's New Brand - Funding Trading

Earn2Trade (E2T), one of the most popular prop trading companies in the United States, has notified its customers about the launch of a new brand called Funding Trading. The company aims to focus entirely on futures trading, which is gaining popularity among investors and businesses seeking opportunities in the trader funding industry.

Earn2Trade is one of the longest-operating prop firms originating from the United States, offering retail traders funded accounts of up to $400,000. Unlike its competitors, it doesn't offer leveraged trading on CFDs at all, instead focusing on futures available on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) markets.

Funding Trading offers the same portfolio but with a limited number of available challenges and evaluation processes. In return, investors can take advantage of additional options to increase their chances of passing the challenges.

Although the company has not yet officially announced the launch of Funding Trading on its social media channels, news has started to appear on Earn2Trade's Discord, with users reporting receiving emails about Funding Trading describing it as an "affiliate."

Finance Magnates sought comment on this matter but had not received a response at the time of publication. The two brands are certainly connected, as they are both operated by the same company, EDX Education Services L.L.C.

Futures Gaining Popularity in Prop Trading

While Earn2Trade has always focused on futures trading, this market segment is increasingly attracting prop firms that previously concentrated on forex/CFDs. They are starting to open new brands specifically targeting the futures market.

Crypto Fund Trader made such a move at the end of last month, launching the Crypto Futures Platform. Previously, The Funded Trader made a similar decision, launching The Futures Trader platform. MyFundedFX has also been operating an independent brand, MyFundedFutures, for some time.

Jon Light, the head of OTC trading at Devexperts, recently spoke about the growing popularity of futures in the prop trading industry. Devexperts created the popular DXtrade platform for retail investors.

In an interview with TradingTech Insight, Light stated: "The demand for futures trading technology is strong, especially in the rapidly growing prop trading sector, which is exploring new opportunities. Additionally, we differentiate ourselves by providing expert guidance and support to clients entering the brokerage business."
